BPM Journal is Pieter van Schalkwyk's thoughts on all things process. The theme is Performance Focused Process-Centric organisations and Pieter gives his views on how Business Process Management or BPM impact organisations and how it can be used to improve (business) performance. Pieter has a passion for process and the ability to transform process management ideas into technology enabled process management solutions. Pieter is the Managing Director of Sydney based eXomin who develop and market XMPro, a Business Process Management Suite and Work Management Solution. He holds both a Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Information Technology degree. He is actively involved in the development and implementation of performance management and business process solutions in the UK, Australia, the US and South Africa. Pieter was the CEO, founder and Chief Architect of FlowCentric in South Africa with customers such as SABMiller Africa and Asia, ABB, Avis, Royal Bank of Scotland, Anglo Platinum to name a few. FlowCentric was twice awarded Microsoft ISV Partner of the Year award in South Africa (2006 & 2009) under his leadership. He has more than 15 years experience in developing innovative software solutions and is leading XMPro product development to create real world solutions to real world process challenges.
